Apocalypse | 001 | The Book of Revelation

Hundreds of years ago, on a rocky island off the coasts of Turkey, ink and pen touched on paper as the hand of an old veteran of the gospel wrote down one of the most astonishing narratives of all time - "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John." (Revelation 1:1) The book is not sealed or secretive for the Greek word "apokalupsis" means disclosure or to reveal. To the earnest seeker of the truth the promise is given, "...seek and ye shall find..." (Luke 11:9) When you come to God with sincerity of heart, desiring to know the truth of His Word, God says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
